Standardised Price List
We provide complete transparencySince September 2021 the Competition and Markets Authority (CMA) has required that all UK funeral directors clearly display a Standardised Price List of basic funeral costs, which you can see below or download in pdf format. While this is very welcome, because it allows you to compare prices between funeral directors more easily, please bear in mind that these prices are for our most basic funerals. In practice, most people will require additional services (such as limousines, printed orders of service, flowers, etc.), which are added costs.
ATTENDED FUNERAL (funeral director’s charges only)
This is a funeral where family and friends have a ceremony, event or service for the deceased person at the same time as they attend their burial or cremation.

The funeral director can give you a full list of what they supply. They are likely to charge for these additional products and services, so you may choose to take care of some arrangements without their involvement, or you can choose a different supplier.
¹ This fee (which is sometime called the interment fee) is the charge made for digging and closing a new grave, or for reopening and closing an existing grave.
