Interment of ashes involves placing cremated remains in a permanent resting location. This can include dedicated family plots, cemeteries, private gardens, or woodlands.
Similar to a funeral or memorial service, there is no right or wrong way to conduct an interment of ashes ceremony. Some families may opt for a formal service attended by multiple loved ones, while others might prefer a more intimate and casual gathering. Unlike a funeral, an interment ceremony can occur separately, at a time chosen by the family. This could be soon after the funeral, several months or years later, or on a significant date. Ultimately, the decision rests with the family.
An interment of ashes ceremony offers an opportunity for family and friends of the deceased to say their final goodbyes and express their condolences. It also provides a permanent resting place that loved ones may wish to visit in the future. While some families prefer to organize the ceremony themselves, we are here to assist in arranging a meaningful interment service.
